ACE: Stockton to San Jose
ACE Hits the Big Screen
Join the Altamont Commuter Express for a tour through scenic Altamont Pass, wooded Niles Canyon, the Alviso Marshlands, and more! This 110 minute feature, filmed in late 2005 and early 2006, focuses on all of the ACE train stations along its route and sheds light on its place in California's railroad history.
More than just a commuter rail video, John and Dan of TSG Multimedia packed this production full of Union Pacific, Burlington Northern Santa Fe, Amtrak California, California Northern, and Caltrain railroad, in addition to the Niles Canyon Railway and Santa Clara County's VTA light rail system. The DVD version features a bonus still–photo library with over 90 images.
"TSG Multimedia has truly created an attractive video capturing the essence of the Altamont Commuter Express." says Mike Steenburgh, Marketing Manager for the San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission. "The beautiful scenery it traverses each day as it transports busy silicon valley executives, working class commuters and the occasional traveler alike each day is depicted admirably."
